Graduation Reqiurements

i dont have any feelings twords my academic career in light of my graduations reqiurements,.

How I Feel????

Today is the last day of our technology class which probably means that is could be the last time i would write a new blog. This year went by really fast, and it was really easy. I hope next year would be the same. I had some what fun this year, although it's a small school, but that didn't matter. I cant say that i would miss this school, because i wouldn't, and because i live like a few blocks away. i would probably miss the good times that i had during this year, not the ones in school but the memories of me doing stupid \things during the school year. Im not a very sociable person, so i really dont get invole with what is going on, but i got to say one thing, this school wasn't that that bad for it first year, i give them credit for that.
Hopefully next year would be much faster and a lot more easier. In the beggining of the school year i thought this school would be stupid and lame, but its not that bad. i kinda enjoy being a part of this school. In three more years i would really look up to, to see if thios school had really kept it's promise. I's promise to send the majority of students to college, but it's not up to the school for the students to go to college, it up to the students, and the choices they make, during their high school years. Personaly i think this is a good school, and it would be better through out the years, BUT ONLY TIME WOULD TELL.

My reactions of this these things happening around Animo Veince, are just caringless, i dont really care, i mean sure we got to put a stop to it or what ever but still, you never know if next year it could be worse, even if we stop whats happening like the stealing, and the tagging, it would forsure happen again.

ABC 7 REPORT

The report talked about the LAUSD District, that there schools are failing in graduating there students. Then it started to talk about about the Animo school and how they are achieving to graduate there student unlike the LAUSD SCHOOLS. My opinion is that every school is a good school, it the student who make it a bad school, in any school anyone could get a good education, it's all on the students, for there education.

Steve Barr

Last week Steve Barr came in my Read 180 class and he started to talk about his life, and what encouraged him to build these schools. The one thing that i found most interesting about him is when he was talking about his brother, and how his life went the other way, in school.
Mr. Barr is an alright type of guy, once you get to know about his life, he didn't say much, but what he said was enough to understand, on what he went through. Mr. Barr didn't really teach us anything about leadership, because of the lack of time that we had. It was either that or i cant remember.

Which hole are you in?

1) Do you think the author really fell into holes in the sidwalk? What do you think the "holes" in this poem are a methaphor for? What kinds of "holes" have you fallen into in your life?
I think that the author had fallen into bad habbits that she doesn't want to do, but she keeps doing it because she cant stop.
2) When I first read this poem, I thought of what's happening to your grades. Some of you seem to be stuck in hole #2: your grades go down; you pretend you don't see it; you have "F"s again; you can't believe you're in the same place; you say it isn't your fault; it takes you forever to get out or you don't get out at all. Which hole are you in right now? Why do you think so?
I'm not in any hole, because when i see that i have an "F" i do what i possibly can to raise my grade, so i would say that I'm not in any hole.
3) In terms of your grades, what do you have to do to reach step V and not fall into the hole of letting your grades drop? If you have already reached step V, how did you get there; and what advice can you give to the students who are stilling falling into "holes"?
To fall in the fifth hole you must bring your grades up every time that you have a bad grade, then when you learn to do that then you'll fall in the V HOLE

Luis and Chris incident

What i think about the incident about what Luis and chris did was wrong, but they deserve a second chance, sure it is wrong to bring a weapon to school, but that was a toy gun,if it was something like a knife, then things should get serious but they brought a plastic BB gun to school. First they should've thought about it twice of bringing that plastic gun to school, second they should've not been shooting it in the classroom.
My opinion about yesterdays assembley was a waste of time, it just lead up to more anger between the students. The assembly was about Luis and Chris, and the purpose about it was talking about what they did, what was the point of having that assembly if we can't get them back, it was a waste of time. The other purpose about the assembly was to prevent something like that in the future, there is no point because something else like that would happen again, something always happens. Like someone in the school said that everybody in this school is two face, that i agree with most og the students here are two face, including me.
